Retirement rule

What happens to a tennis bet when a player retires injured. It differs by bookmaker: some void the bet, others settle it once a set is finished or pay the player who goes through.

Watch out: Check the rule before you bet: the same match can settle in opposite ways at two bookmakers.

Bet types Set betting In tennis, a bet on the exact score in sets, such as a player winning by two sets to one. Bet types Void A bet that stands as if never placed, usually because the event was cancelled or a player didn’t take part. Your stake comes back.
